WHY WOULD YOU USE BEE VENOM
In many parts of the world - especially in Asia, Europe and Russia - venom from bees (bee sting) has long been used to assist the human body's response to muscle and joint problems due to age, disease or injury. These and other benefits have been the subject of a many clinical trials, resulting in over 1700 scientific publications in the last 75 years alone.
Bee venom has multiple effects on the body:
It helps improve blood circulation
increases physical strength and well being
stimulates the pituitary-cortical system
reduces pain and inflammation
activates the immune system
aids in recovery from sports injury
relieves pain after accidents or surgery
aids nerve damage
boosts the body's natural ability to respond to pain.
HOW IS BEE VENOM COLLECTED
All the existing types of electrical devices for bee venom collection have a common working element - a bee venom collection frame. It comprises a bee venom collection frame with wire electrodes installed in parallel to each other. An electrical current goes through them in the form of impulses.
Bee venom frames are mounted on the top of honey frames in every hive and then are connected to an electro-stimulator. The electro-stimulator is switched on and the time of the treatment is recorded. In the course of stimulation the behaviour of bees in the electrical field between the wires of bee venom frame is watched.
Bees that come into contact with the wires receive a mild electrical shock which causes them to sting the glass sheet. The alarm odour, which is emitted from the venom, mobilises and irritates the other bees and they also start to sting the glass sheet. At completion of the collection, the electrical stimulator is switched off and the bees are shaken off from the bee venom frames. Approximately 33,000 bee stings = 1 gram of Bee Venom.
The bee venom collected dries on the glass. The frames with the fresh dried bee venom on them are carefully packed into a special container for transportation to the laboratory.
ARE THE BEES HURT IN THE PROCESS
Because the bees are stinging a piece of glass their abdomen remains intact and therefore the bee remains healthy and alive.
HOW TO USE
BEE VENOM & MANUKA HONEY
Is recommed for internal use for muscle or bone pain in many parts of your body or where the pain is very deep, as in shoulders, hips or thighs.
For effective pain relief best results come when Bee Venom and Manuka Honey is taken morning and night. 1/2 teaspoon is the recommended dosage and if possible hold the honey in your mouth (under the tongue if you can) so that the bee venom can be absorbed by the muscous membranes lining the mouth. This is the best way for the bee venom to enter the body - once in the stomach it is not so readily absorbed.
If you like to spread the honey on bread or toast, chew well to ensure it remains in the mouth for maximum absorption to take place. If mixed into water or other drinks, the liquid should not be hot. Temperatures above 50 degrees Celsius, may harm the active vee venom. Again, hold the drink in the mouth for a few seconds before swallowing to allow maximum absorption.
NB: Vitamin C has a role in assisting bee venom, relieve pain. It is recommended to also take Vitamin C daily, either in tablet form or naturally from kiwifruit or oranges.
